Questions about censoring a video

What people ask about iwant.video: the price ($10 per video), what it hides, what it misses, what happens to the footage, and refunds. Each answer stands on its own.

Questions

Can I see the result before I pay?
Yes, free. Click Make a free preview and six short clips from your video come back censored. Change the options and make another.
Is $10 really all of it?
Yes. $10 per video, any length up to six hours, every option included. No subscription, no credits.
Why is it so cheap?
The work is automatic, so you pay for the run, not for an editor’s hours. The free preview shows you what you get.
What can iwant.video censor?
Faces, whole people, license plates, and spoken words you type in. The picture gets mosaic or blur; each word gets a bleep.
What if it misses a face?
Small or turned-away faces can be missed. Check the preview, and if a face shows through, try Whole people. The refund covers failed runs, not missed faces.
What if the run fails?
It is tried three times. If every attempt fails, your $10 is refunded automatically.
What happens to my video?
Encrypted end to end, processed by us in secure cloud environments, deleted after two days. Never used for training, never shared.
Why is there no account?
Everything happens on one page, and the download link goes to the email you give at checkout.
How long does it take?
Your part is a few minutes. Processing takes minutes for a short clip and longer for hours of footage; the link is emailed when it is done.
What can I upload?
One MP4, MOV or MKV, up to 5 GB and six hours, straight off the camera or phone.
Will the finished video be lower quality?
No. Same resolution, standard MP4, no watermark.
Can I blur only the children?
Yes. Choose Faces and set an age; faces that look younger are blurred and adults stay visible. Age is an estimate, so check the preview.
Can I hear the bleeps in the preview?
No, the preview is silent. Check the spelling of your words; the bleeps are in the finished video.
Does bleeping ass also bleep casserole?
No. A word matches whole words only, so ass is ass and not class or casserole. A * stands for any letters, at either end or in the middle: ass* catches asshole, *ass catches badass, d*g catches dog and dig.
Does the blur follow people as they move?
Yes. Detection runs on every frame.
Is there a watermark?
No.
What is the difference between mosaic and blur?
Mosaic replaces the area with flat blocks and hides the most. Blur is softer and hides less.
Can I keep one person visible?
Only by age. Faces and Whole people cover everyone found; an age on the Faces slider leaves adults visible.
What about a second video?
Another $10. No bundles.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It runs in the browser.
Is this a real company?
It is made by the people behind ffrwd (ffrwd.video). You pay by card and get a receipt; a failed run is refunded. Write to hello@iwant.video.
